New immunisation approaches that may improve the development of sub-unit vaccines ahve led to a particular emphasis on reducing the number of doses needed to induce long-lasting making simpler their delivery. To increase the immunogenicity of vaccines, we propose their coencapsulation with a carrier protein as T-epitope source within an adequate delivery system. We have been studied the potential use of the recombinant heat shock protein of 18kDa from M. Ieprae (18kDa-hsp) as a T-epitope source (1,2). the main goal of this work was to compare different formulations for the 18kDa-hsp and correlate then with the antibody response of injected mice.
