An investigation of the production of anisotropic RE-Fe-B-Cu powders prepared by the hydrogen decrepitation of hot deformed ingots has been carried out. Alloys with two B contents, namely, (Pr_1-xNd_x)_20.5Fe_73.8B_3.7Cu_2 and (Pr_1-XNd_x)_20.5Fe_73B_5Cu_1.5 (x=0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1) were hot deformed at 750 deg C using a multiple deformation rate to produce magnets with a well aligned fine microstructure.
