We describe a feature-based geometric modeling system in which features are represented in an order-independent, declarative way, by means of so-called G-Rep solids and geometric constraints. This approach allows modeling of variable shape and topology. In addition, a dynamic structure specification has been realized by means of programmable features. Feature templates may be invoked or deactivated dynamically. With the programming mechanism of recursive conditional features, designers can specify adaptive parts and dynamic structure in a declarative manner.
