A method to correlate RAW material properties to baked anode core performance

With new environmental regulations effecting cokers, changes in the steel industry's production, changing product demands, and changing business climates, the sources of feed stocks to the coke calciinging and pitch processing facilities are frequently changing in quality and quantity. These changes affect net carbon, anode density, return butt weight, pitch demand, or optimal aggregate sizing among other facotrs in a smelter. The challenge for Carbon Plants around the world is to produce a consistantly high quality product while experiencing changes in the incoming coke and pitch.
