摘要

Ultrafine diamond (UFD) is a hybrid product of explosion mechanics and material science. In this paper, we established the synthesis mechanism of UFD, built the direct―simulation Monte-Carlo computing method for generating of liquid drops from free carbon through coagulating in detonation, and constructed the computing programs for explosion thermodynamics conditions and phase-transition dynamics. A set of synthesis and purification technology was worked out.
