Localization of Nuclear Fuel Supply and Fuel Management in Guangdong Nuclear Power Station

It is a definite policy to accomplish progressively the localization of nuclear fuel supply, and it is also a success way to develop nuclear power industry in China. Nuclear fuel assembly, one of the key elements as well as the largest successive procurement in Guangdong Nuclear Power Station (GNPS). The supply of nuclear fuel has direct and significant impact on the safety, reliability and economy of the NPP operation. The localization of fuel supply can bring the complete fuel cycle system into development so as to ensure a long-term and steady fuel supply and reduce the fuel cycle cost as well as the nuclear power cost.
