Microwave detection of breast cancer: a study of tumor response variations

摘要

Microwave confocal imaging was recently introduced for breast tumor detection. This paper describes the physical configurations and image reconstruction algorithms of the authors' proposed system. The number of antennas required for tumor detection is explored. The tumor response obtained in the images is examined with different model tumor sizes and variations on the image reconstruction techniques.
