Municipal solid waste management: case study malta

摘要

In this paper the treatment of municipal solid waste (MSW) will be reviewed in detail by comparing two alternatives: Alternative A: Composting-Recycling-Incineration-Landfilling, and Alternative B:Incineration-Landfilling. The objective of this paper is to evaluate different waste management alternatives and to make general opinion on the most favorable solid waste management strategy for Malta.
