How to design concrete produced by two-stage concreting method

摘要

The main aim of this paper is to propose of an algorithm for design concrete made using two-stage method. The effect of the grout (water, cement and fine sand) on the sedimentation and fluidity tests is discussed and showed the same behavior. The value of water/cement ratio of 0.40 and cement/sand ratio of 1/1.5 is not included in the general equations, because the grout was too thick and will not penetrate to all the voids of aggregate skeleton.
