The real CDM field induced ESD waveform from MR heads

This paper develops a new setup and procedure for obtaining and verifying the real CDM ESD waveform from MR Heads. Data shows that previously reported double peaks are an anomaly of the setup and procedure. The new setup separates (location) the paddle-board from the suspension and uses a thin dielectric to avoid arc-over to the metallic suspension. This will allow for the proper development of a CDM standard for MR heads.
