The National Research Council (CNR) has produced hyperspectral MIVIS (Multispectral Infrared Visible Imaging System) data since 1994 with an intense activity that allowed a good comprehension of instrument potentialities and deficiencies for both MIVIS and production pipeline software. The production software resulted not adequate to be modified in order to insert in the production all the new modules necessary to recover MIVIS performance lacks. The research related to the MIVIS operative management felt the necessity to implement a new software architecture to redraw the production flow that take into account quality control tasks finalised at a better MIVIS instrument scientific management. For this purpose the ground station research staff is developing a new open system devoted to data production that takes into account all the necessary data and operational quality controls, and allowing a rapid implementation of solution modules for new instrumental problems and instrumental upgrades.
