摘要

Transonic wind tunnel test section has the perforated walls. A number of experiments have been performed to determine how the flow in the test section is affected by the presence of the perforations. This paper reports the measurements performed with a single slot in the bottom plate of the test section of a transonic wind tunnel . Three different geometries of the cavity were used. The aim of the test was to visualize the disturbances in the external flow caused by the slot. Schlieren method and holographic interferometry served as visualization methods.
