The rate equation model for laser oscillation dynamics of powerful single-mode Nd:YAG laser system with two coupled cavities and passive LiF:F_2~- Q-switch is offered, calculated and analyzed. It is found that even at weak (with relative depth 0.02) modulations of pump power the generation has character of low-frequency cavity dumping of the complex resonator, that results in occurrence of high-energy (with energy more than 2 J) trains of nanosecond pulses with average power 100 W and peak power more than 400 kW.
