摘要

It was confirmed by experiments and theoretical calculations that the flying height decreases rapidly when the yaw angle becomes large. Clearly, it is harmful and not desirable for slider to decrease its flying height. This study undertakes preliminary research for some new-type sliders which have such characteristics of uniform flying height even though the yaw angle is large. As a result, some good rail shapes were invented and eight models were examined.
