Comparison between the analysis of the mechanical behaviour of bolted joints by the finite elements method and by the european approach (PR EN 1591)_

Mainly the Taylor-forge and the PVRC methods currently perform mechanical and leak-tightness calculations on bolted joints. The use of the PVRC method, replacing the conventional parameters (m and y) of the Taylor-forge method, is not sufficient on its own to solve the problem of the analysis of the behavior of a bolted joint.
