A bayesian reliability growth model for ageing components

摘要

This paper deals with the reliability assessment relative to a component which ages and underwent some design modifications to slacken the ageing phenomena. In section 1, commonly available probability models for ageing are criticised from the point of view of their potential application to reliability growth problems; section 1 ends up with selecting an ageing model suitable for reiability growth analysis. In section 2 the computational problems relative to the selected model are addressed and solved. Section 3 is a user guide of the model.
