摘要

Fracture absorption energy is one of the important characters of dynamic material properties.Curent testing methods involve either too many parameters to be measrued or are limited by the impact rates lower than 40m/s.In this paper we present a new testing method,by which the fracture absorpton energy of materials experiencign high strain rate deformation can be easily evaluated by detecting only the flying rates of specimen before and after it's fractures.
