摘要

Swelling kinetics is important in disintegration of soft and hard gelatin capsules, in drug release pattern from polymeric matrices with sustained release properties including bioerodible polymers, and in hydrogels with limited swelling. crosslinking restrains swelling and prevents dissolution. The purpose of this work is to study the effects of structural changes of these copolymers on the rate at which the swelling equilibrium is reached because this aspect has received less attention.
