In this study,we extend the results of previous combined numericla and experimental investigations of an axisymmetric laminar diffusion flame in which difference Raman spectroscopy,laser-induced fluorescence (LIF),and a multidimensional flame model were used to geenrate profiles of the temperature and major and minor species.A procedrue is outlined by which the number densities of ground-state CH (X~2II).excited-state CH (A~2#DELTA#,denoted CH),and excited-state OH are measured and modeled.
