Telecommunication Information Network Architecture (TINA) is a software architecture, which provides a set of specifications for the development of high-speed multimedia applications. Security management in the TINA service environment is studied in detail. To cope with federation and composition of service sessions, a dynamic role creation scheme from role class hierarchy is proposed. In combination with security space representation, algebraic specification of roles creates a new, composite role. A strongly-rolled system and role mapping between federated domains are proposed, which, in combination with dynamic role creation and algebraic role specification, will enable static security analysis of a complex, dynamic service environment.
