The WK-recursive networks are highly concurrent message-passingarchitectures which belong to a class of regular scalable topologies andcan be expanded very easily to any size regardless of the node degree. The authors examine the strength and weakness of WK-recursive topologiesfrom a graph point of view and consider the features that make itsconnectivity appealing. A set of interconnection metrics is defined. Asimulation package is developed and a transputer development system(TDS) is used to evaluate the relation between communication time, sizeof message, and distance traveled
