M10 elastic backscatter lidar: a step closer to unattended lidar operation

摘要

A portable field ruggedized elastic backscatter lidar system has been developed for use in air quality studies. The specifications of this system, known as the M10 Lidar, are discussed including engineering steps taken to allow unattended field operation. Data from the first field test of the system at Pellston, Michigan are presented.
