TISES is a non-real-time, discrete event, engineering design-level simulation of the Objective THAAD (Theater High Altitude Area Defense) system. ^The purpose of TISES is to provide the THAAD Project Office with an analysis tool to support the end-to-end performance evaluation of the objective THAAD system effectiveness in a many-on-many environment. ^TISES is currently undergoing modifications required to support THAAD Milestone II analysis. ^By simulating the message interfaces and corresponding dynamic interdependences between segments of the THAAD system, TISES provides the capability to support the spectrum of one-on-one and many-on-many analysis of the integrated THAAD system against TBMs under various battle conditions. ^TISES is being used to address critical THAAD issues. ^This paper addresses the purpose of the simulation, types of input and outputs, and a brief summary of what is modeled within the simulation. ^(Author)
