Advananced redundant fieldbus and plant control system in conjunction with multiple variable speed units

The Metropolitan Water District (MWD) of Southern California is currently in the construction phase on the Eastside Reservoir Project (ESRP). The 9.87 x 10~8 m~3 capacity reservoir is an off-stream water storage project to serve the various storage needs and provide a more reliable delivery of imported water to 16 million people in MWD's needs and provide a more reliable delivery of imported water to 16 million people in MWD's 13,300 km~2 service area.
