In this paper, rigid body dynamic analysis and hydraulic simulation are applied to an electro-hydraulic manipulator. The techniques presented in this paper demonstrate that using commonly available general-purpose software package, et. MATLAB~TM, Simulink~TM (MathWorks, 1992), an economic, but accurate analysis can be obtained for any electro-hydraulic system system. System identification, dynamci analysis and simulation provides voluable assistance in the design of optimal electro-hydraulic manipulators such as required for mining automation applications.
