Authors in this paper explicated the feasibility of application of steel fibre reinforced cconcrete to mine construction, introduced and analyzed experimental results on factors of affecting the compressive strength of SSFRC by orthogonal layout, briefly explained Second Compound Method in mix design of SSFRC, finally, briefly elaborated the fibre-matrix stress transference mechanism under lateral compression force and compressive mechanism of SSFRC and explained the reason why the supershort steel fibre can increase the compressive strength of concrete by a big margin.
