The Mechanical Behavioures of Rocks at High Temperature

摘要

At high temperature, based on observing the video of micrograph, analyzing X-ray diffraction curves of quartz sandstone, studing the strength and deformation of quartz sandstone and limestone, the influences of phase change on strength of rocks and deformation mechanism are investigated. The experiments and analysis indicate that the strength and deformation of brittle rock increase in a certain temperature limit when the rocks are heated.
