HF communications in the information age

摘要

This paper examines the potential of HF radio to support the global information revolution. The topic is tackled in two parts. Firstly, the paper examines activity in HF radio usage, research, development, and standardisation. This is followed by a review of the latest HF radio networking technology using information sourced from both research literature and the Internet.
