摘要

A ship is a moving platform where hundreds of items of electronic equipment and sensors are deployed. The use of high power transmitters and improved sensitivity receivers in close proximity due to space constraints leads to interference among them which results in operational degradation. The situation is further aggravated due to random selection and installation of weapons and other electronic equipment items. This paper proposes a new weapons selection and evaluation paradigm using the analytical hierarchy process in a 3-D model. The ship design process is based on the K-system modelling technique where the anticipation model and perception model are developed depending upon operational requirements. The model validation is performed for realistic case studies. User friendly software is used for the development of an expert system to assist the designer in ship design and construction along with weapons selection and evaluation.
