Computer intelligence

摘要

The ancient problem of the representation of reality in the mind and of the mind's representation in language has returned in a relevant and pragmatical form: computer intelligence. Relations of classical and modern logic, the interpretation of uncertainty, and the role of patterns in ways of thinking and representation by computers are continuously being revisited in the light of new results in psychology and brain research, and especially concerning the dramatic advances of computer technology. Some research projects are outlined, concerning: patterns in large databases, man-machine interface experiments using graphical patterns, and a promising breakthrough by analogical neural networks. An advanced project envisages the education of a possibly more human world of man-machine symbiosis.
