Abstract: Stimulated Raman light scattering by an atom near a macroscopic body with spectral peculiarities in the vicinity of the atomic resonance frequency is theoretically investigated. It is shown that the stimulated Raman light scattering by an atom under these conditions essentially differs from that in free space. !16
