Coherent population trapping in high-intensity electromagnetic fields

Abstract: We consider a case of interaction of a three-level atomwith high-intensity electromagnetic field when the Rabifrequencies are greater than the atomic transitionfrequencies. We show that coherent population trappingcan exist under the certain phase conditions in thiscase of the rotating wave approximation violation.!7
