Abstract: The spectra of photo- and x rays-luminescence of cadmium tungstate monocrystals with the impurities of heavy (Pb$+2$PLU$/, Bi$+3$PLU$/) and rare-earth ions (Pr$+3$PLU$/, Sm$+3$PLU$/) were investigated. The main spectral and kinetic characteristics of the photoluminescence are given, which can be the evidence of the presence of impurities in the cadmium tungstate crystals. !7
