Output characteristics of room-size free-electron short-wavelength laser based on z-pinch structured by a standing light wave

Abstract: The structuring of Z-pinch by a standing laser wave is used to control the process of radiation. The additional relativistic electron beam coaxial with the pinch is supposed for an undulation. The theory of a free electron laser for such an undulator is done for the 'weak' field regime. !3
