Abstract: For MeV radiography with millimetric spatial resolution and 30% quantum detectivity we are developing a new large sized gamma-ray pixellized scintillator imager composed by an array of long and heavy scintillating crystals. The previous readout device is a parallel plate avalanche chamber, but we do not limit our investigation in the direction of VUV scintilators, and thus we compare the spatial resolutions by means of the Monte Carlo simulations on BaF$-2$/, LiBaF$-3$/, BGO, LSO, and GSO. !3
