Abstract: In recent years, CEDIP has designed and producedseveral imaging systems using MCT-FPA from SOFRADIR.From the simple 64 element linear array to the advanced128 by 128 LWIR matrix, a large amount of expertise hasbeen gained in the design of advanced electronicmodules and optics. The purpose of this paper is topresent some of the technical solutions and basicconcepts defined and used by CEDIP's engineers duringthe design phase. Performance data about thecommercially available Peltier cooled IRFPA camera,based on these design concepts, also is given. !0
