Rill system: An Object-oriented computer network simulation system

摘要

Objectives are to have simulation tools for real computer network systems and data communication systems. Rill system is an object-oriented simulation package. The application area includes data switching systems, LANs and VANs. In this paper, we present briefly the general simulation languages first, and describe the problems in the performance evaluation in high-level protocol and large scale real computer network system. Then we talk about the object-orlented method used in Rill system.Finally, the main functions and applications of Rill system are introduced.
