摘要

In orde to solve performance bouleneck due to collisions in random access LANs, an improved Collision A voidance Broadcast Star(CABS) architecture which can farther expand network bandwidth and two new network architectures called Multiple Collision A voidance Broadcast Star (M-CABS) which are suitable for wideband integrated services LANs are proposed in this paper. After describing the protocols we present performance analyses and comparing results of CABS and M-CABS. The results show that all the performances of CABS and M-CABS are superior to that of CSMA / CD, and the reliability, bandwidth, delay performance of M-CABS are clear superior to CABS.
