Both audio and video watermarking enable copyright protection withowner or customer authentication and the detection of mediamanipulations. The available watermarking technology concentrates onsingle media like audio or video. But the typical multimedia streamconsists of both video and audio data. Our goal is to provide a solutionwith robust and fragile aspects to guarantee authentication andintegrity by using watermarks in combination with content information. To achieve this, video stream parsing capabilities have to be added toexisting watermarking algorithms. We propose to extract the audio andvideo content, called feature, and embed the content features with arobust watermarking scheme into the audio and video data. These featuresof audio and video data have to be identified. Watermarking payload andfeature data requirements have to be compared. Our goal is to describeour current state of work in audio and video processing. We introduce anew approach for a/v content security. We embed watermarks both in videoand audio channels of a MPEG system stream to increase security againstattacks on content integrity
