A specific pattern: BME education and research in an old SE European town

摘要

The biomedical engineering (BME) educational and research patterns at one of the earliest southeast European medical and polytechnical centers are presented. The principles on which teaching is based as well as results and trends are discussed. Major emphasis is given to encouraging innovative research by students as early as possible.
