摘要

An optical measuring complex is a conventional component of a modern and highprecisionfree-flight projectile range. It is urged to solve numerous problems:- carrying out external ballistic measurements and acquisition of data on structures offlows around aerodynamic models;- prediction of the influence of detonation products on storage and transportation tanksfor dangerous materials and cargoes, as well as consequences of a shock influence onexplosive systems;- studying of shock interaction between solid bodies, processes of a shell fragmentationby means of detonation products, progressing of hydrodynamic instabilities, fluffingand spalling processes.A new trend in methods of shadow and silhouette photographing is connected withapplication of cumulative light sources. This technique allows achieving high-precision dataon optical diagnostics under conditions of state-of-the-art tests, during conducting appliedand fundamental researches. The paper is illustrated by shadowgraphs produced using thenew technique.
