摘要

This article focuses on the vane of mixed-flow hydraulic turbine with obvious fillet features. It brings forward an optimized algorithm for vane model based on feature recognition and suppression. The paper gives a brief introduction of fillet recognition theory and the basic principle of feature suppression algorithm. Based on topological naming for NURBS modeling, it describes the suppression approach according to two different types of fillets and its method for realizing. This algorithm is versatile and has a low rate of model distortion. It has effectively reduced the calculation time and improved the efficiency of model design.
