INVESTIGATION OF THE SUBJECTIVE EVALUATION OF INDOOR ILLUMINATION LEVEL ON PERCEIVED AIR QUALITY

This project studies the influence of the indoor illumination on the subjective evaluation of indoor air quality through on-site investigation. The experiment is carried out in the conditions of 110lx and 220lx two illumination level, indoor effective temperature ET*= 14-31.5, 3 kinds of fresh air rate that is 14m3/h·per and 48m3/h·per respectively and people staying indoors time for 120 minutes. Analyzing the evaluation of illumination on odor perception of perceived air quality, air depressing perception, air fresh perception and air acceptability through experiment, it showed that people’s evaluation on the air quality is related to the illumination level by their environment in the same conditions, especially the illumination level has obvious affect on air acceptability evaluation, and from the results of illumination it showed that the subjective evaluation of air quality is a complicated evaluation which is affected by environment factors and psychological factors.
