Recently surfaced-enhanced infrared absorption (SEIRA) effect has received significant interest due to its ability to detect molecules by label-free and non-destructive approach. This article demonstrates a miniaturized and label-free biosensor for the quantitative and recognizable molecular fingerprint detection of DNA by using SEIRA spectroscopy based on metamaterial perfect absorber (PA). We have experimentally demonstrated its ability to detect DNA, the result shows that the limit of detection (LOD) of the sensor reaches 500pmol/L, lower than some traditional methods and $mathrm{C}=mathrm{O}$ fingerprint is obtained. Moreover, the investigation of the geometry-dependent characteristics provides a way to further expand the scope of the detection application, such as the detection of protein and virus.
