摘要

3-amino-5-nitro-1,2,4-triazole (ANTA) is an insensitive explosive with performance greater than TATB and has received interest as a co-crystal and as a precursor to other energetic molecules. In this paper, the synthesis of ANTA was reduced to a single step from 3,5-diamino-1,2,4-triazole under mild conditions using a commonly used oxidizer. This explosive was synthesized at the lg-5g scale and a suite of analyses were conducted and confirmed that ANTA was the final product.
