The HRGB method is an alternative to Fourier and back projection techniques for image reconstruction from k-space orI&Q SAR datasets. The method is highly parallelizable, and does not rely on interpolation. A "horizontal key" of dataelements is calculated – preferably in parallel – for each of an arbitrary set of x-coordinates in image-space. Imagespace"color" data are then calculated – preferably in parallel – at an arbitrary set of image coordinates. The method isgreatly simplified for SAR I&Q samples on trapezoidal/keystone grids. The resulting images can be computed quickly, with accuracy exceeding back projection techniques.
