This paper discusses the performance analysis of waveguide bandpass filter (BPF) configured by frequency selective surface (FSS) based on split-ring-resonator (SRR). The performance of waveguide BPF implemented using a WR90 type rectangular waveguide is also analyzed through its equivalent circuit. The structure of FSS applied to configure the waveguide BPF is designed on two layers of Arion DiClad 527 dielectric substrate and comprises of two pieces of SRR. Meanwhile, equivalent circuit of the waveguide BPF is built by using some lumped elements of inductor, capacitor, and resistor and performed using EM & Circuit simulator software. It shows that the performance of realized waveguide BPF which has -3dB working bandwidth of 240MHz in the frequency range of 7.32GHz to 7.56GHz is agreed qualitatively with the one produced by the equivalent circuit.
