Melding Augmented Reality and traditional eHealth applications has the potential to deliver disruptive services while in the same time improve the lives of millions of people. Facilitated by the technological improvements and progressive features of the upcoming 5G telecommunication era, the new exciting amalgam of services will most likely become an everyday reality in the next few years. This paper presents a conceptual AR application architecture based on Multi-access Edge Computing, aiming to relief Phantom Limp Pain and help amputees resume a certain percentage of their daily activity while avoiding medication. In addition, we provide a detailed analysis of the overall prototype implementation process, emphasizing on the scope of our work and how certain issues were efficiently addressed.
