摘要

The implementation of 2-methyl, 4-nitroaniline (MNA) inside the capillaries of a silica glass, endlessly single mode photonic crystal fiber, for the development of in-fiber based light conversion devices is reviewed here. The low-Abbe number, MNA is infiltrated from melt inside the silica glass photonic crystal fiber, while applying specific annealing and thermal poling protocols for achieving molecular ordering, and corresponding enhancement of its non-linear optical behaviour. Indicative results are presented with respect to the infiltration and poling conditions applied; also, presenting variations of the specific approach.
