In this paper, we report the generation of millimeter-wave carriers using two free-running DFB lasers on Erbium doped glass emitting at 1.5μm. Carriers with ultra-narrow linewidth are generated. For the generated signals, the thermal tunability is studied and the optical and electrical powers variations of the signals are measured to be ±0.3dB and ±5dB for lasers temperatures between 10°C and 70°C.
